Chinese Market

There are 230,000+ Chinese people living in New Zealand plus 50,000 Chinese international students currently studying, of whom contribute to the domestic Chinese Market of New Zealand. It is the largest foreign born demographic with the highest socioeconomic ranking in our country.

In 2019 there were 400,000+ Chinese visitors which is the second largest inbound demographic and were the largest individual spenders, contributing over 1.5 billion to the New Zealand economy.
